Warming Trend & Seasonal Conditions Ahead

After a frigid weekend with an arctic front settling in over the Commonwealth, temperatures dropped to dangerous levels, with mornings and late evenings featuring drops into the negatives. Wind gusts combined with dry conditions made for uncomfortable feels-like temperatures.

Currently, we are experiencing more seasonal temperatures, with highs nearing the 40s statewide. Expect overcast skies with a slight chance of mixed precipitation, including light rain and snow showers.

More comfortable conditions can be seen heading into Wednesday. As we approach the weekend, temperatures will drop slightly below average, with Valentine’s Day bringing lovely conditions!
