A ridge of high pressure remains overhead across the majority of the state today, bringing in seasonable temperatures and mainly sunny skies.  This ridge is expected to weaken a little bit tomorrow, allowing some light rain showers to progress through the state during the day on Saturday along with somewhat cooler temperatures.  Much of Pennsylvania, especially the northern areas, will continue to experience cloudy skies on Sunday a warm front lifts through, bringing in significantly warmer temperatures across all of Pennsylvania.  The peak of this heat arrives on Monday as a large area of high pressure dominates the state, bringing partly cloudy skies and well above average temperatures.  This taste of early summer is expected to continue into Tuesday, albeit with slightly cooler temperatures and mainly cloudy skies as another round of light rain showers makes its way through the state.
